Sarah Kennedy
Chairperson & League Welfare Officer

I have played for Lincoln City Ladies, Gainsborough Trinity LFC, Scunthorpe United LFC and Sleaford Town LFC. I have been lucky to play at a reasonable standard of the female game, playing in the FA Cup, winning the County cup, amongst other league and cup competitions. I am a Level 2 coach and have been coaching since a young age of 14, coaching all age groups from Under 7s to the adult game. I have mostly coached girls and female teams, however have coach numerous boys teams in this time. Two seasons ago I set out to get girls football back at my hometown club Sleaford Town, working alongside other agencies I have managed to maintain a Wildcats centre, and create 5 girls teams and see high numbers attend throughout the season. I have a real passion to promote the female and girls football to make it possible can here in Lincolnshire. I have been able to encourage, develop young females in their coaching roles and alongside into the refereeing world.

Vice-Chairperson
I have been coaching since the age of 18, started my journey at Sleaford Town as a volunteer where I currently still coach, I’ve worked for Boston United, Nottingham Forest and now currently Lincoln City. I have coached ages all the way from 5 up to adult teams. I want to help push and progress the Female game in our county as much as we can, get more people involved in playing, coaching or volunteering. With my day job working in schools in the county it means I can educate, support and encourage girls at primary school age to take part in whatever capacity they want to.

Football is my passion. I have always had a massive interest in the game, not just playing but watching too. I’m a season ticket holder for Lincoln City, support Arsenal and I play for Rustons Sports. I’m really excited to take on my role as Secretary and help being involved in Women’s football and helping out in the grassroots community with having a interest in female football.

Roanna Stevenson

I am Roanna Stevenson and I have taken over the volunteering role of Player Registration Officer for this season.
I only started playing football when I was 29 (I am now 35 years young) since then I have played for various clubs in different leagues and coached girls from Year 6 – Year 10.
Unfortunately, I am out for a season or two, however, I wanted to stay involved in the game, so with plenty of spare minutes on my hands I decided to take up this role.
I follow Chelsea FC and I compare myself with the beautiful player, N’Golo Kante, if you know his style of play then you will have an idea of how I play.
I have been on the other side of the Registration process and know how frustrating it can be, however, if you all read the emails I send out (not many) and we all work together then it will be plain sailing.
I wish your teams the best of luck in the season. Go smash it!!

Hi. I'm Alfie and I'm the Social Media Manager for the LWGFL for the upcoming season. Despite being the youngest member on the committee, my experience in the field makes up for it. I've been in sports reporting and such for close to 8 years now, but have only been involved in Women's Football for the last year and even during that time, I've seen a growth in it, from both a local perspective and a national perspective and I can't wait to help grow the league for seasons to come.

I am a graphic designer and photographer, having started my creativity over 30 years ago mainly in a sports origin. I decided to start my own media business, just as co-vid hit our shores. Being part of grassroots sports since knee high and after being a player, coach, manager, I am now currently media manager for NCEL Premier division team. Having hopped in and out of women’s sports, I decided to help to develop this wonderful, honest and skilful side of the sports industry, that is now only starting to get the recognition it deserves. I look forward in supporting you with the information you need and helping you celebrate your team efforts on and off the pitch. I am here to help with any branding or exposure requirements you may need.
